Mind Control

I'm working on downloading a Torrent right now. We've been at it off and on since Sunday night. It's not that I have a slow computer (though my connection speed is nothing to be coveted). It's just that almost no one else has the file I want, so I am at the mercy of whomever has it and most of them turn their computers off when they leave work.

Yesterday we decided to let it run. In the background we had our Torrent program running all day and all night. Sure, we were doing other things, running other programs, even downloading other files. All the while, we chipped away at this Torrent. We finally set a dedicated download.

I don't know. Maybe that's a good example of setting your mind on something. If that's the case than here recently I've set my mind on getting a well paying, part time job and starting my own company. So, I guess I've been walking according to the flesh... in the desire for money.

I want to walk according to the Spirit... in the pursuit of God. I want to set my mind on things of the Spirit. (Rm 8:5) And I want this to finish downloading too.
